Uniting the Akurana Community in Qatar
Akurana Community Qatar (ACQ) is a non-profit expatriate organization formed in late 2015. We represent the natives of Akurana, a vibrant town in the Kandy District of Sri Lanka, who are currently living and working in Qatar.
What started as a small gathering of friends has grown into a robust organization dedicated to the welfare of our members and our hometown. We operate under the guidance of senior community leaders and are affiliated with recognized Sri Lankan bodies in Qatar.

Annual Family Gathering Success
Our recent winter gathering at Dahl Al Hammam Park was a massive success. Over 200 members and their families joined for a day of fun, food, and bonding. We thank all the sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible.
