Akurana Community Qatar (ACQ) is a non-profit expatriate organization formed in late 2015. We represent the natives of Akurana, a vibrant town in the Kandy District of Sri Lanka, who are currently living and working in Qatar.

What started as a small gathering of friends has grown into a robust organization dedicated to the welfare of our members and our hometown. We operate under the guidance of senior community leaders and are affiliated with recognized Sri Lankan bodies in Qatar.
